Emeralds. Ethics. Engagement.
House of Meraki’s emeralds are cut and polished at our own lapidary and then set into beautiful jewellery in house. Through closely monitoring our entire supply chain, we are able to ensure that we use the best practices for the environment and integrate the highest labour rights.
We also focus on giving back to the communities in the cities where we operate out of. By working with organisations that are based in these cities, we give our employees the opportunity to get involved with community service at it’s core. In this manner, corporate responsibility for us goes beyond simply donating a percentage of our profits and integrates the entire company. In Mumbai, India, we work closely with the Mother Theresa Charitable Trust to sponsor food for the children that they support, month on month.
